My Holiday
Summer holiday has already come. How happy am I!
The favorite thing I wanna do is traveling. I joined an outdoor club and went to the seaside in Zhejiang province with other members. On July 20, we started our journey at 21:00 in the evening. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep in the bus.
Suddenly someone was pushing me. I opened my eyes and a beautiful sea was right there. What a beautiful place! We swam in the sea and played beach volleyball. The wind, the sunshine, the blue sky and the happy boys and girls formed a wonderful picture! At noon, we cooked seafood like crabs, shrimps, seashells and so on. They are all so delicious.
My mouth is now watering again. I will never forget such interesting expirence.
My Summer Vacation to Beijing
This summer vacation, I had the opportunity to visit Beijing, the capital of China. It was an unforgettable experience that I would like to share with you.
Firstly, the Journey
I traveled to Beijing with my family. We chose to fly there as it was the fastest way to reach the city. The flight from our hometown took about an hour and forty minutes, and it was a smooth journey. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the bustling cityscape of Beijing, filled with tall buildings and modern infrastructure.
Secondly, the Sights
We visited several famous landmarks in Beijing. The Great Wall was at the top of our list. Standing on the wall, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration for the ancient Chinese who built such a magnificent structure. We also visited the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, and Beihai Park, all of which showcased the rich history and culture of China. The beautiful landscapes and intricate architecture left a deep impression on me.
Thirdly, the Countryside Experience
Besides the urban attractions, we also ventured into the countryside of Beijing. There, I had the chance to go boating and fishing. The peaceful surroundings and the fresh air made it a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was a unique experience that I will cherish forever.
Fourthly, Shopping and Food
We also went shopping in Wangfujing Street. It was a bustling shopping district filled with various stores and stalls. I bought many souvenirs and other items as gifts for my friends and family. As for food, I was delighted to try out various Beijing snacks. They were delicious and a true delight for my taste buds.
Lastly, My Feelings
In conclusion, my summer vacation to Beijing was an eye-opening experience. I was amazed by the city's rich history, culture, and modern development.
