They argue that it is unsuitable to open a market on campus because university is a place for study. What's more, in order to make money, some peddlers may take advantage of this opportunity to sell low-quality products.
As far as I'm concerned, the advantages of flea market on campus outweigh its disadvantages. On the one hand, it provides a platform to make full use of resources. On the other hand, it is a good chance for students to learn some useful skills which are helpful for their future job hunting:
