During the summer vacation, I think I should do something interesting and meaningful rather than touring. So I found a job at a fast food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. I worked eight hours a day for three weeks. This job was boring and seemed endless, which made me so tired that I nearly stopped it half way. But, I stuck to it with determination. Every day I started to work early in the morning and got home late in the evening. Finally, I finished the job before the new school term. Now, I realize what labor means. I think it is really a successful experience, which is worth remembering forever.

I do some preparations for this trip。 For example， I search the Internet to see the travel raiders and I have known where the most attracting place is and where to live in。
Last year I had a wonderful summer vacation. I did what I liked best. I did a lot of housework and I often helped my mother with cooking. Sometimes I took part in club activities. Travelling is my favourite so I visited many places of interest with my parents.
This year, I think it is the most important for us to keep healthy/ fit this summer. First, I will have a good rest and get relaxed. I will have over eight hours’ sleep every night and eat fresh vegetables, fruit and fish and do some exercise, such as playing ball games. I’ll do some reading and also read some English books to improve my English. I dream of going to Hong Kong Disneyland to see the theme park.

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. The weather was hot. My little brother and I decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. It took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. The we dived into the water……
About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” We were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. As quickly as possible. We swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. He lost his consciousness. We sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.
In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. That day was meaningful. We did a good deed!
