I went to Chongqing on July 22nd. It's a city built near mountains, hence the nickname "Mountain City." In Chongqing, I visited the Red Stone Center to see the former prison quarters. It was a chilling and solemn experience. There were many dogs and soldiers with guns nearby, and most of the prisoners were subjected to harsh conditions, living in small houses with meager food and water. They only had twenty minutes of outdoor time per day but remained silent. I consider them heroes of that era. I will emulate their spirit.
