口语练习不能光是模仿，毕竟语言是人类用于信息传递与交换的工具，要让孩子意识到他模仿的英语不是毫无意义的。这时家长可以给孩子找一些有趣且贴合孩子日常生活的情景对话短片，让孩子自己学着给人物配音练习。
这时孩子的口语就不再是简单的模仿了，他会根据自己理解的短片情景判断自己要说的英语可能是什么意思，这样孩子对英语有了自己切身的理解，就能够将其内化到脑海里，借某个契机运用到生活中。
